Built because video was too hard
VEED was founded on 20 March 2018 by Sabba Keynejad and Tim Mamedov, a designer and an engineer who believed that making a great video shouldn't require a production crew, a six-figure budget, or three days of your life. Video has become the most powerful way to grow a brand online. But the tools to make it were complex, expensive, and built for specialists. Most people were locked out or stitching five different apps together and hoping for the best.
Sabba and Tim built VEED to fix that: one platform where anyone could open a browser, create a video from scratch, and have something post-ready in minutes. Today, millions of marketers, founders, and creators across the globe use VEED to make videos that look on-brand. In 2022, Sequoia backed the vision with a $35 million investment. The team has grown to over 150 people. The mission hasn't changed: turn anyone's idea into a video.
