How to get the best results from VEED Animate
You can easily create high-fidelity animations with VEED Animate. But to get the best results, we recommend keeping these best practices in mind:
- VEED Animate works best for relatively simple character animation
- The character uploaded must be as human-like as possible (no gorillas, big foots, or mascots)
- The reference image should match the video in posture, camera angle, and composition
- The character reference should always be front-facing
- The video reference should be 2–30 seconds long
- Avoid full-body video references—stick to 2/3 body shots
- Record on a clear background without too many artifacts—clutter can create instability
- Match portrait images with portrait videos, or full-length torso images with torso videos
- This is experimental—try different compositions to find what works best
